Anthony B. "Andy" Stauffer

Anthony B. “Andy” Stauffer, 61, of Wapakoneta, died peacefully 5:45 p.m., Tues. Feb. 21, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 19, 1961, in Lima, OH, the son of William D. & Barbara Jean (Hasting) Stauffer, who preceded him in death. On April 28th, 1984, he married his former spouse Ginger Stinebaugh, and she survives in Wapakoneta. Together, they had four beautiful, stubborn girls whom he would say outnumbered him. Their daughters are Jamie (John) Martinez, Wapakoneta, Lindsie (Christopher) Vaughn, Wapakoneta, Andrea (Justin) Rapp, Spring Lake, NC, Lauren (Kevin) Fisher, Wapakoneta, and his honorary 5th daughter, “Molly Mae” his German Shepherd. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Raygen, Macen, Carter, Gavin, Gauge, Zoey, McKenzie, Carmella, Caraline, Elaina, & James. He was one of seven children, which includes William (Kim) Stauffer, Rebecca (William) Donavan, Steve Stauffer, Martin (Jeanette) Stauffer, Doug (Julie) Stauffer, and his brother Dan, who preceded him in death. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Tonya Stauffer Andy graduated from Wapakoneta High School in 1980. He was a member of 4H and had a passion for horses. Throughout his life, Andy left lasting impressions and memories with friends, family and coworkers. He was ornery, stubborn, goofy, and generous. He was a man of few words but showed his love through his actions, and was always a phone call away. Andy was a jack of all trades and a master of many. Although Andy took great pride in his work, he made sure his family was a priority. He worked endlessly to support his girls. He loved his Buckeyes and Bengals and rarely missed a game. Andy enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, playing cards, drinking a few cold ones, four wheeling, playing volleyball, and having cookouts and bonfires. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thurs. March 2, 2023, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with Fr. Sean Wilson officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Wed. March 1, and 9:30 a.m., until time of the service Thurs. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the A.L.S. Association.
