Beulah Agnes Hibner

Beulah A. Hibner, 82, of Wapakoneta, died 10:33 a.m., Thurs. Oct. 4, 2018, at Mercy Health- St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Auglaize Co., the daughter of Frank P. & Louise A. (Laux) Braun, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 20, 1955, she married George E. Hibner, and he died March 28, 1994. Survivors include, 2 sons, Kevin L. (Phil Flynn) Hibner, Dayton, OH, & Keith A. (Donna) Hibner, New Bremen, OH, 4 grandchildren, Renee (Andy) Moebius, Kurt Hibner, Jeremy Mott, & Brian Hibner, 6 great granddaughters, Adrien, Lily, Tessa, Elyse, Madison & Chloe, siblings, Maxine Baumer, Gilbert “Butch” (Dorothy) Braun, Arnold (Carol) Braun, Mary Alice (Clem) Sanders, Mary Ann (Gary) Jarrell, brothers-in-law & sister-in-law, Lucille Hoying, Bernard “Shorty” Steinke, William Kenzik, numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Roger ( Rose) Braun, Adrian “EZ” (Janet) Harry Braun, Ardean (Odella) Braun, Audrey Steinke, Irvin “Red” (Philena) Braun, Arlene Kenzik, and Andrew Baumer. A homemaker, Beulah retired in 2001 from Crown Equipment, New Bremen. She had also worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., St. Marys, OH. Along with her husband, she sold cook ware. She was a 1954 graduate of Anna High School, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband George. Her other hobbies included competitive ballroom dancing, traveling, and ceramics. Most especially, she dearly loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Fri. Oct. 12, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Sean Wilson officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. John Cemetery, Fryburg, OH. The family will receive family and friends 5-8 p.m., Thurs. Oct. 11, and 9-10 a.m., Fri. at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1102 Lincoln Ave., (St. Rt. 501) Wapakoneta.
