Frank R. "Frankie Raye" Treglia

Frank R. “Frankie Raye” Treglia, 70, of Waynesfield, Ohio, died 9:24 a.m., Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health System Emergency Room. He was born June 6, 1951, in Lima, the son of the late Frank S. & Betty Jane (Allen) Treglia. On December 10, 2016, he married Sarah E. Woessner, and she survives, with his girls, Abigail and Peaches, as well as his grand-dog, Dutton. His loving family includes, 2 children, Clint A. Howland, Waynesfield, Alicia R. (Zachary) Hendrickson, Waynesfield, 2 grandchildren, Ali Raye, Wyatt D. Hardin, siblings, Philip M. Treglia, Port Clinton, Ohio, Polly (Christopher) Kirian, Cridersville, Ohio, brothers-in-law, Michael Woessner, Lima, Scott Woessner, Ada, Rick Woessner, Ada, sister-in-law, Janet (Brian) Cocker, Springfield, Ohio, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a bonus son, Carl Jay Cummins, and granddaughters Trinity and Keelin. Frankie Raye was “Pops”, “The Dad he didn’t have to be”, and grandfather to many family and friends. He was previously married to Nelda M. Treglia, Rebecca Clarke, and Laura Clementz, whom all survive him as well. Frank retired from the family owned and operated business, Treglia Construction Co., where he helped many young people with his knowledge, guidance, love and pride in every one that worked with or for him. Many continue to say, “he poured our basement!”. Frank Treglia helped to build the foundation of countless buildings AND lives. Frank was a dear friend, father figure, devil’s advocate, whatever anyone in his world needed at the time. Some of the best food, hugs and advice, whether asked for or not, came from Frank. He had the biggest heart of any person most any of us, that knew him, had ever met. The memories so many have of Frank, the good and bad times shared, will remain with all of those that knew him in any way. And, all that knew him, could count on him, and come to him. To quote one of his dearest, closest friends, “Some people are branded on your heart and he is one.” Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Waynesfield Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 2-8 p.m., Saturday, March 26, at Eley Funeral Home, Waynesfield, and 1 hour prior to the service, Sunday, at the church in Waynesfield.
