Kempton Tobias Perez

Kempton Tobias Perez was delivered on November 25, 2014 at 11:18 am at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He met the Lord Jesus without taking his first breath. He weighed 3lbs 1oz. and measured 13 inches. He is survived by his father Ruben Perez Jr., his mother Kristy Perez, and his two brothers Kathan and Rhett Perez. Grandparents include: Patricia and Oscar Rivera of Wapakoneta, Ruben Perez Sr. of Wapakoneta, Darold Schindler of Wapakoneta, and Sandra Sadler of St.Marys. Also aunts and uncles, Tom and Jaylene Perez, Nic Perez, Amy and John Shinabery, Sara Perez, Kendra Perez, Kacey Perez, Chip Schindler, Shane Schindler, Toby Schindler, Ronnie Snyder, Darold Lee Peterson, and Brian Peterson, numerous cousins and many loving friends. From the first signs of our son's life, we knew this child was a blessing straight from heaven as all babies are. He was a sweet little surprise. Happiness immediately overtook us all. We just knew God had big plans for our family. We enjoyed every moment we had with our little Kempton, his every kick, hiccup, and tummy wave. Big brothers daily talking to baby, wanting to teach him all that they knew. So much joy this baby brought! At 24 weeks we were handed the worst news a parent could bare, our world was changed in a matter of seconds. They found that he may have Trisomy 13 that left us with almost no hope. But we clung to hope and from that moment we chose life. His and ours. We are so thankful for the time God gave us. At 28 weeks and 4 days, he was born into heaven before our world, but his sweet adorable little face will forever be etched into our hearts. What an angel and what we would have missed if we chose a different path? It's never goodbye, only we will see you again! We love you buddy- Love Mommy, Daddy, Kathan, and Rhett. For this child I prayed- 1 Samuel 1:27. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sat. Nov. 29, 2014, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, Pastor Phillip DeLorme officiating. Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m., Sat. at the funeral home.
