Albert F. "Frank" King Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Albert F. “Frank” King, 85, of Wapakoneta, died 10:18 a.m., Sun. April 3, 2022, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. He was born Dec. 22, 1936, in Mt. Andrews, KY, the son of Charlie C. & Virgie (Murphy) King. His parents and step-mother, Bertha King preceded him in death. On Nov. 12, 1955, he married Sharon L. Wagner, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 4, 2003. Survivors include, 4 children, Gordon F. King, Botkins, OH, Sherry L. (Joe) Spaugy, Wapakoneta, Stacy E. King, Wapakoneta, Tony (Bobbi) King, Corpus Christi, TX, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, special children, Nick & Sam Kiefer, Scott Kiefer, Kerry Kiefer, a sister, Avalene “Avie” Tabler, Wapakoneta, a brother Dave (Jackie) Billiter, Wapakoneta, and a special friend, Linda Stolzenburg. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan King, and a brother, Ed Epperson. Frank retired from the Koneta Rubber Co., Wapakoneta, and the Lotridge Rubber Co., Botkins. He was a member of Brands Lake Fishing Club, the Wapakoneta V.F.W. Post #8445, the Amvets, Post #333, the Fraternal Oder of the Eagles, Aerie #691, and the American Legion Post #330, all of Wapakoneta. Frank could build and repair anything, and was always willing to help any one in need. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Wed. April 6, 2022, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Brian Vernon officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Moulton, OH. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Tues., and 1 hr. prior to the service Wed. at the funeral home.
