Carol J. Music Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carol Jean Music, 77, of Wapakoneta, died 2:15 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She was born December 19, 1944, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold & Ethel Marie (Messmer) Baber. On September 19, 1974, she married Eugene “Gene” Music, and he preceded her in death on October 2, 2007. Survivors include, 4 children, James D. (Pamela) Mason, Columbus, Ohio, Jeffery A. (Lois) Mason, Galloway, Ohio, Kimberly (Randall E.) Music, Galloway, Ohio, Shelly Marie Music-Johnson, London, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Skeens, Randy F. Music, Jeffery Mason, Jr., Justin Music, Harley Johnson, Isabella Johnson, Lillian Johnson, Jaxon Johnson; 8 great grandchildren, Ian Mason, Jayden Skeens, Benson Music, Taylor Music, Danica Skeens, Madison Mason, Dylan Skeens, Dresden Music. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon K. (Jack) Beeler, a nephew, Jack Beeler, Jr., and her former husband, J.D. Mason. Carol worked with Advantage Company , as a demo lady at Kroger and Walmart. She was a member of the Lima Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of the Wapakoneta Senior Citizens. Carol enjoyed couponing, and was also willing to share coupons with her family and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Terry Brock officiating. Burial is to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery, near Uniopolis, Ohio. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, and 1 hour prior to the service, Thursday, at the funeral home.
