November 29, 1959 - January 22, 2021

Douglas D. Kelly, 61, of Wapakoneta, died Friday afternoon, Jan. 22, 2021, at the Lima Memorial Health System. He was born Nov. 29, 1959, in Chicago, IL, the son of William & Linda (Hopkins) Kelly, who preceded him in death. On June 2, 2000, he married Erin L. McCormick, who survives. Other survivors include, 3 daughters, Rashel (Brian) Swartzell, Royal Center, IN, Brittany (Aaron) Coughenour, Akron, IN, Brooke (Eugene) Honeycutt, Akron, IN, 2 step-children, Curtis (Tasha) Feldman, Grayslake, IL, Rick Feldman, North Richland Hills, TX, 9 grandchildren, Laci & Carson Swartzell, Noah & Cooper Coughenour, Dawson, Logan, Aydin, Jaylynn, & Carter Honeycutt, 2 step-grandchildren, C.J. & Jason Feldman, 2 brothers, William (Kay) Kelly, Warsaw, IN, Victor (Susan) Kelly, Sarasota, FL, Doug worked as a supervisor at Fed Ex, Lima, OH. He was a proud member of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. He was a graduate of the Tippecanoe Valley High School and the ITT Technical Institute, Ft. Wayne, IN. He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, cooking, hunting, fishing, and anything outside. In accordance with Doug’s wishes, there are to be no public services. Arrangements are under the care of the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, Wapakoneta.
