Hazel Wagner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hazel Wagner, 86, of Wapakoneta, died 12:25 a.m., Tues. Dec. 7, 2021, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born Oct. 24, 1935, in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of the late Richard & Rinda (Hoskins) Wilson. On June 7, 1958, she married Robert G. “Bob” Wagner, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 2015. Survivors include, 3 children, Rinda (Wayne) Beach, Wapakoneta, Roger (Christine) Wagner, Lima, Renee (Jason) Roth, Powell, OH; 6 grandchildren, Alex (Jaclyn) Beach, Andy Beach, Ashley (Jesse) Bryant, Jessica (Jeff) Root Jason (Jill) Wagner, Derek Roth; 5 great grandchildren, Evelyn, Leeland, Nathan, Cooper, Sutton; 2 sisters-in-law, Charlotte Wilson, Frances Wilson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Opal Lee Earls, Grant Wilson, Leo Wilson, Mary Sparkman, and Don Wilson. A homemaker, Hazel also worked at Auglaize Acres, and The Learning Center. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Hazel was a member of the Wapakoneta Country Club. She loved caring for her grandchildren, cooking, baking, playing golf and studying family genealogy. Private family services will be at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, Wapakoneta.
