James Paul “Jim” Newland, 78, of Wapakoneta, died 3:06 a.m., Wed. Feb. 16, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born Jan. 21, 1944, in Toledo, OH, the son of the late Richard L. & Dorothy (Hawthown) Newland. Jim retired from Ametek, Wapakoneta, after 41 years of service. He was a member of the NRA, and enjoyed shooting pool and bowling. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there no services planned. Arrangements are under the care of the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, Wapakoneta.
