Marilynn R. Williams, 91, of Wapakoneta, died Thursday afternoon, February 10, 2022, at her home. She was born October 23, 1930, in Shelbyville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Carl & Ina (Brown) Metz. On December 1, 1951, she married Max Williams, and he preceded her in death on on September 6, 2001. Survivors include, 6 children, Carl (Peggy) Williams, Wapakoneta, Rodney Williams, New Bremen, Ohio, David (Kay) Williams, Wapakoneta, Pam (Doug) Tharpe, Wapakoneta, Laurie (T.R.) Maxson, Wapakoneta, Tresha (Michael) Cook, Frazeysburg, Ohio; 10 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren; and a great grandchild and a great great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by a grandchild and a great grandchild. Marilynn worked at Pantry Pride, Wapakoneta, and was still working as a camp host at the Grand Lake State Park, St. Marys, Ohio. She and her husband had also owned and operated the M & M Market, Uniopolis, Ohio. Marilynn enjoyed camping, and spending time with her family. Private funeral services will be held at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Gary Bragg officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Grand Lake V.I.P.
