Rosa M. “Rose” Abel, 74, of Wapakoneta, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at her home. She was born July 11, 1947, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Anthony & Eula (Williams) Magaraci. Her father and mother are deceased. Her mother’s husband, Michael Sager, survives in Napoleon, Ohio. Survivors include, 2 children, Jodi (Travis-dec) O’Neal, Wapakoneta John (Rachel) Abel, Spencerville, Ohio 8 grandchildren, Leiloni (Tom) Yocum, Jerry Cameron, Tiffany Cameron, Micah Fyffe, Chloe Abel, Emilee Abel, Calista O’Neal, Averee Abel, 8 great grandchildren, siblings, Antoinette (Eddie) Rodriguez, Napoleon, Ohio Frank (Susie) Magaraci, Colorado Florine (John) Carper, Kentucky Tony (Nancy) Magaraci, Georgia Charlene (Jeff) Weber, Napoleon She was preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Smith. Rose worked as a self-employed house cleaner. She was a member of the Wapakoneta Community Worship Center, and the Wapakoneta Eagles. Rose enjoyed antiquing, swimming, fishing, dancing, gardening and watching old westerns. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Dan Holbrook officiating. The family will receive friends 12:00 p.m. until time of the service, Saturday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
